MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join an award-winning local newspaper and print company. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller you will assist in providing management and financial accounts and company-wide financial information.
The main purpose of the role will involve:

Completion of information for the monthly profit and loss accounts. You will assist in the preparation of the monthly management packs, the annual budget and the year-end statutory accounts.

Production and review of balance sheet reconciliations and working papers

Preparing month end operational reports.

Assisting with cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting and year-end audit.

Providing and interpreting financial information to departmental managers.

Assisting in the production of sales and profitability reports for the business. You will perform detailed reviews of variances, compare actual results with budget and carry out investigations into details of such variances.

Understanding of Statutory and tax compliances.

Have experience and a full understanding of payroll procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Financial Controller.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (or suitably qualified by experience) with solid management accounting and staff management experience. You should have a high level of attention to detail with good organisation and interpersonal skills.
Due to the level of reconciliations and operational reports required the ideal candidate will be highly computer literate to include advanced excel. Experience of Sage Line 200 would be an advantage.
This is a full time permanent position working 37 hours per week.

Full Time Telephone Sales Advisor
To join our busy Classified Advertising Team based at our Mold office.
You will be responsible for selling advertising space within our publications. Therefore a proven track record in front line telephone sales, along with an aptitude in the development and generation of new business is essential.
This is a busy environment where no two days are the same. In order to succeed in this role you will need ambition, self-motivation, and determination.
You must possess:
· A sound educational background, particularly in English and Maths
· Good computer skills, with an understanding of the Internet, and accurate typing
· Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
Previous telephone or field sales experience is essential, along with customer service experience
You must be:
· An organised person who pays attention to detail
· A multi tasker with the ability to prioritise
· A pro-active team player, with the ability to work on your own initiative

Field Sales Representative
NWN Media is one of the UK’s leading independent publishing and printing companies. With its headquarters in Mold, NWN Media Ltd employs almost 300 people located in ten offices from Bangor to Welshpool.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Field Sales Representative to join the busy advertising department, working from our Mold office.
Ideally you will have some experience/knowledge of the advertising industry, along with familiarity of the North East Wales area.
The main duty of this role is to maintain and grow an existing sales territory for our print and on-line products. You must have proven sales skills in a business-to-business environment and have the ability to source new clients. This will require intelligence and the ability to think clearly through client solutions, along with enthusiasm to meet KPI’s and targets. We are looking for a pro-active team player, with the ability to work on your own initiative.
You must possess:
· A sound educational background, particularly in English and Math’s
· Good computer and accurate typing skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Excellent presentation skills
· Full driving licence
· Previous face-to-face sales experience
This vacancy is full time. Hours will be: Monday - Thursday 9am - 5.30pm and Friday 9am - 5pm.
